Press Conference «Neftekhimik – Traktor» 10/16/2026
16.10.2026
Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 3–2 (OT) win over Traktor.
– It was a back–and–forth game – much like all the previous ones. Both sides created plenty of scoring chances, and the momentum kept shifting. It was a very even contest. It is great that we managed to convert our second breakaway in overtime.– Both teams had opportunities in overtime; what was missing that would have allowed for an earlier finish?
– The entire game was played on a razor’s edge. Whichever team scored first would likely have won it in regulation. That same mindset carried over into overtime, with both sides trying to play a disciplined game and avoid taking any unnecessary risks.
