Press Conference «Salavat Yulaev – Neftekhimik» 10/12/2026

12.10.2026

Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Grishin speaks with the media after a following 3–4 loss against Salavat Yulaev.\

– We finally played a high–scoring game against Salavat Yulaev, but unfortunately, the result did not go our way again. Both teams created an equal number of chances. Perhaps the lack of wins against Salavat Yulaev is weighing on the guys. There were mistakes. There are two opponents we just cannot seem to beat: Salavat Yulaev and Amur. This losing streak is holding us back. I agree that we are struggling to break out under pressure. That is actually a very good question. We devote a lot of time to this aspect in practice and watch video. Do we lack the patience that Salavat Yulaev have? I think it really comes down to individual skill.
