Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 1–4 loss against Severstal.
– The opposing team started the game at high speed. We expected this kind of start. The hosts tried not to make mistakes, and that is how they took the lead. In the second period, the game was equal for both teams. We created goal–scoring chances. However, we did not take advantage of chances we had. In hockey, goals decide everything. If we had scored, we could have turned the game around. This road series was tough, two strong opponents. Although, I repeat, we had chances. We needed to score.
