Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 2–3 overtime loss against Sochi.
– It is a pity that we did not win. Nevertheless, I am still grateful to the guys who played a tough game. The players were determined, they wanted to win. And all this despite how we got here. We flew at night, which is why we missed the morning warm–up skate. So the preparation was not what it should have been. Nevertheless, we played great being shorthanded, not letting the opponent score. We took advantage of the power play, it was a great play. Unfortunately, small mistakes that affect the final score had an impact. But thanks to the fans who supported us today. It was great to see them here. We will move on.
