– Sevastyan, the team had a solid game, even though it did not go our way. What was missing to get the win?
– One goal. We conceded two quick and frustrating goals in the first period – that is the area we need to clean up. It happened last game too – two goals in a row, right off the bat. Fix that, and we are good.
– Walk us through your goal.
– Avangard were trying to break out, our guys jumped on the puck. Pastukhov fired it, and I was all alone in the slot – just tipped it in with my stick.
– You guys had so many scoring chances tonight. What went wrong?
– Sometimes the goalie made a save, sometimes it just did not cross the line. That is hockey.
