Neftekhimik lost to Sochi 2–3 (OT).

In the first and second periods, both teams did their best defensively and did not concede any goals.

In the third period, Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin scored first goal of the night, after that, Riley Barber doubled Neftekhimik'se lead on the power play. During last ten minutes of the third, Sochi tied the game up.

In overtime, Neftekhimik was not lucky enough to get two points.
