Neftekhimik got a win over Spartak 2–3 (SO).
The coaching staff decided to give Neftekhimik captain Alexander Dergachyov and Bulat Shafigullin a rest before the playoffs. Yegor Yuzlenko, was called up the day before from Izhstal, replacing Joseph Duszak on defence. German Tochilkin, who had missed several games due to injury, took part in today's game.In the first, both team had chances to score. The home team was closer to achieve this. Fortunately, well defensively play by Ilya Pastukhov and Filipp Dolganov kept us in the game.
At the beginning of the second, Neftekhimik forward German Tochilkin scored first goal of the night. Spartak responded quickly with a tying goal. Five minutes before the end of the second, Grigory Seleznyov brought Neftekhimik it's lead back. Later, Rubtsov scored his second of the night and tied the game up for the second time.
In the third, there was a back–and–forth hockey. Both teams' goaltender kept their teams in the game.
In the shootout, Nikita Artamonov scored a game–winning goal.
