Reaktor forward Timur Makarov speaks with the media after a following 2–3 shootout loss against Mamonty Ugry.
– It was quite an interesting. From the first minutes, the teams set a high tempo, creating one scoring opportunity after another. But I think we dominated the first two periods, both in terms of the score and the game. However, in the final period, our opponent tied the game up and took control. The game went to a shootout, where our opponent proved stronger. Of course, it's good that we earned one point, but the game could have swung the other way.– What happened in the third period? The opponent created a lot of goal–scoirng chances...
– It's hard to say. Perhaps the home team gained momentum after the goal. They felt their game was in good shape and applied pressure in our zone. So, I have to mention Vladislav Rukhlyadev; he had a lot of work to do. It was largely thanks to him that the game went to a shootout.
