– Viktor, you scored two goals and made an assist on your birthday. How would you assess such a performance?– I must acknowledge that it was indeed a fortunate coincidence. I received numerous congratulatory messages this morning, and consequently, I felt in excellent form well before puck drop. I would describe my state as fully focused and highly motivated.
– Judging by the final scoreline, the contest appeared to unfold with relative ease from an external perspective. Could you share your internal assessment of the game?
– Our opponents had played the previous day, which may have impacted their recovery and conditioning. However, we do not base our approach on external factors; we concentrate exclusively on our own system and execution. We did not have a fixture yesterday – instead, we conducted an intensive training session. As a result, we entered today’s match with maximum energy and a clear objective to secure the victory.
– Could you provide a detailed analysis of your two goals?
– To be candid, the adrenaline of the moment renders some specifics somewhat elusive upon reflection. Nevertheless, both goals followed a remarkably similar pattern: on each occasion, a well-timed pass was delivered from the central area; I managed to outmaneuver the defender along the wing, released the shot, and successfully found the back of the net.
