– It was a hard–battled game; the opposing team was active all over the ice. It was difficult to get into the game because of the high tempo they set. Plus, Kapustin was injured, we had fewer players, and all of this affected our play. It is good that we held on—a very important win for our team.
What was the key to success? I think we simply stuck to our game plan: play confidently, well offensively as well as defensively. That leads to goals. When you have a lead, it is much easier to play.
