The way the team played at the beginning was not good, and we were consistently lost puck battles. However, such setbacks are precisely what the preseason is intended to address. Today's showing fell short of expectations, yet we are fortunate to have sufficient time to rectify our deficiencies and refine our approach ahead of the regular season.
Given the limited training sessions with the squad prior to this point, the process of integrating into a new team at this stage presents considerable difficulty. I am deeply appreciative of my teammates, who have extended a warm welcome and provided invaluable guidance. My immediate focus is on regaining optimal conditioning as expeditiously as possible and making a tangible contribution to the collective effort.
