- Today’s game was kind of the game, where your opponent used his goal-scoring chances. I think we had a good game. We are pleased with team’s effort; unfortunately, there was not enough skill in using goal-scoring chances. We conceded two weird goals. First goal - there was a rebound from the board and the defenseman could not stop the puck. The second goal was scored after deflection from the skate of our defensemen. We are pleased with the team's effort, except the outcome of the game.
Bill Peters:
- That was good game. We did not give up much especially through forty. They pushed especially when it was 1:0. There was a couple of big saves. It is nice to see Dan Sexton get rewarded, you know, bounce on the second line and Mokeyev’s unselfish play with letting Dan to score a hat-trick.
Nikita Popugayev:
- It was a good game. Our team wanted to win. It's a pity that we lost. We just did not take advantage of our goal-scoring chances.
- Why did it happen?
- Yeah, we did not take advantage of goal-scoring chances. I had a good chance when I made an assist, my teammates were on a 2 on 1 rush; we have to use these chances.
