Wolves at the factory

On the eve of the next Fonbet KHL Championship of the 2025–2026 season, the Neftekhimik team went on an excursion to LLC Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
The players and coaches had a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of one of their favorite enterprises. Before that, all the participants of the excursion changed into the uniform of the SIBUR company. It was a bit unusual to see the guys in turquoise overalls. Neftekhimik forward Damir Zhafyarov was among the first to change and began to joke with a serious look, like: “please, I accept orders for any work”. After some time, already in the newest workshop of the repair and mechanical plant, the hockey players had to show that they not only know how to play hockey, but also how to disassemble and assemble valves. Plant director Alexander Borisov told the “wolves” a lot of interesting and informative things and invited the players to participate in the production process themselves. Team captain Alexander Dergachev and last season's top scorer Andrei Belozyorov showed that they not only have excellent stick skills, but also know how to handle factory tools.
– We are active fans of the Neftekhimik team, – said the plant director Alexander Borisov in the conversation.
– We wanted the hockey players to participate in the work process today, leave us their autographs and wish us new production victories. In turn, we also wish them victories in sports, on the ice, so that they make us happy more often.
The plant workers prepared a small surprise for the autographs. They cut out our club logo with an image of a wolf on a machine, on which the players and coaches of Neftekhimik left their autographs.
For Danil Yurtaikin, as he admitted, this is his first visit to the production facility. It is impressive how everything here is clearly thought out, clean, neat, and automated. A very useful excursion, we saw with our own eyes how the material goods we use are created. The excursion smoothly moved to the petrochemists' clinic, which after renovation acquired a modern look. The most advanced equipment is installed here for diagnostics and treatment.
The tour ended with a meeting with fans. LLC Nizhnekamskneftekhim Director General Marat Inilovich Falyakhov wished the team a successful start and excellent results. The Neftekhimik Director General Igor Viktorovich Larionov, the Neftekhimik Head Coach Igor Vladimirovich Grishin and team captain Alexander Dergachyov answered numerous questions from fans. The author of the most interesting question was presented with a game jersey.
