Evgeny Mityakin: «I would like to say thank you to our fans»

Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 2–3 overtime loss against Lokomotiv.
– In the first, we played in the shy way for some reason. In the second, we played better and took the lead. This kind of games must be won. Unfortunately, this is not our first game like this one during the season.– The team took the lead 2–1. What happened after?
– If you look at the season, we have a lot of games when we had a two–goal or three–goal lead, but we could not get a win. You have to play smart, do not change your game and do your best.
I will not say that we did not have scoring chances. We could score in the third. We need to play in a right way defensively.
– Did the fact that there were plenty of fans help in some way?
– That was great. We have a great support from our fans. I would like to say thank you to our fans in general for the entire season. After the game they did not leave, they thanked us. We appreciate it. Unfortunately, we did not win today. We tried to do our best.
