Evgeny Mityakin: «Unfortunately, we did not succeed»

Neftekhimik forward Evgeny Mityakin speaks with the media after a following 3–2 loss against Sibir.

– First of all, I would like to apologize to our fans for such a beginning of the season.

– In the first period, the team had a 2-goal advantage. In the third period, the team conceded 3 goals...

– I agree, in the third period we played not well. We were nervous and let them to play in our D-zone. It is not an excuse.

We did not have the task to play defensively. We were told to play in offensive zone, create new goal – scoring chances. Unfortunately, we did not succeed.

I do not think this will happen again. There are still 60 games ahead and I believe, we can get through it.
