Neftekhimik DirectorGeneral Igor Larionov, Reaktor players Sevastyan Sokolov and Igor Borodinov took part in the traditional Nizhnekamsk Half Marathon.
There were a lot of people at the House of Folk Art, where the race started, from early morning. Sports fans set off for the 10 and 21.1 km distances at 8:00, while children's 300 and 600 meter races took place at 11:10 and 11:20.The most popular race was the 3 km race. It was also attended by the SIBUR team, which was represented by athletes from PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and the team of the Nizhnekamsk mayor’s office, led by the mayor of the city R. Mullin.
After the finish, Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov and Reaktor forward S.Sokolov shared their emotions.
Igor Larionov: Today we ran in a large company led by the mayor of the city R. Mullin. The goal was to run not for speed, but for the sake of pleasure and a healthy lifestyle.
It was nice to see our fans here. Some of them took part in the races, some traditionally cheered for us, encouraged us, and supported us.
S. Sokolov: For Igor Borodinov and I, running a three-kilometer race was not difficult. Usually during training we run twice as much distance. The most important thing is that we had great pleasure today and met many of our fans here.
