– Today the team went out to play without the leaders who distinguished themselves in the previous matches of the tournament. Did you give them a chance to rest before the final?
- Today you gave the first two lines a rest. And those guys who were on trial and received little playing time, went out on the ice today and were able to prove themselves.
– How do you think the newcomers played?
– In terms of play, 2007 is weak. Anyone who wants to get into the team must be angry, aggressive, but I did not notice this. Hockey without quick movements is a hole. There are also questions about those who are on main contracts - our line of defense and attack. As for the game, I can note that I put Marchinsky in defense. We had a boy, Nikita Mokeev, unfortunately, he has already passed away, I once suggested to him to try his hand at defense. And he eventually became one of the best defenders on the team. Today, the same thing happened to Marcinsky - he played well, and scored two goals in the third period. We are preparing for tomorrow's final in the usual way, we will see who is good at what.
