Neftekhimik lost to Avangard 2–4.
Neftekhimik got a great opportunity to score first goal of the game in the first. Neftekhimik's power play did a good job and open the scoring – Andrei Belozyorov made it 1–0. Later, Avangard got its first power play and tied the game up. After that, the home team got another one pp chance and took a two–goal lead before the first intermission.Both team had great chance to score more goals in the second period. Goaltenders did their best and kept their teams in the game.
In the third, Neftekhimik forward Nikita Khoruzhev tied the game up 2–2 on the power play. Five minutes before the end of the third, Avangard scored its third goal. Neftekhimik tried to save the game and changed Filipp Dolganov for an extra–player. Unfortunately, after a turnover Avangard made it 2–4.
